RESET kit allows to jumper 6 different configurations of two reset push buttons to the Raspberry Pi two resets.
Two configurations route pushbuttons S1 and S2 to reset R1 or R2, or vice versa. One resets the BCM chip, the other the PMIC (power management chip) - i.e. power reset.
Two configurations route pushbuttons S1 and S2 in serial to a selected reset input. To reset, it's necessary to push them simultaneously. Great in an environment with high risk of accident pushing.
Two configurations route pushbuttons S1 and S2 in parallel to a selected reset input. To reset, only one need to be pushed. Great if you need to reset it by an uneducated person. Finding one of two is twice easy than if there was only one pushbutton.
One reset input resets the BCM chip, the other powerdowns the PMIC chip output. It can also power-up it if it were shutdown by software.
RESET board is contacted via POGO pins, thus no soldering is necessary.
